China Airlines with back-to-back 77W LAX-TPE services (10 min apart)?

Just noticed on FR24 that China Airlines has two flights CI7 and CI9 that both service LAX-TPE, and depart a mere 10 minutes apart. CI7 leaves LAX 2245, CI9 leaves 2255.

What's the deal here? They've got two plane-full loads of pax and cargo every day between the city pair?
