Interesting at this time there's SQ 992 to Phuket using a 772 (9V-SQN) which a scheduled departure from Changi at 950am, and there's a second flight SQ 994 using a A330 (9V-SSA) which departed at 1015am - barely 25 mins from one another.

And more to the fact that MI is down with 737MAX and SQ is replacing those capacity with the extra SIN-HKT flights.

Think it was SQ992/3 to combine two flights into one beforehand, SQ994/5 must be extra.

Per GDS, effective 2 September, until 29 September, SQ992/993 shift about one hour earlier, and MI 750/749 disappear. From 30 September through 26 October, the current schedules resume. Then, effective 27 October, custody of all rotations returns to MI (738s released from Northern Summer timetable, perhaps? Or just wishful thinking by Schedule Planning?) .

Wishful thinking on their part I think!

GDS was updated today to reflect continued SQ operation as SQ992/993 through 28 Mar 2020, replacing SilkAir.

          27 Oct 2019 - 31 Jan 2020: 772 ER
          1 Feb 2020 - 28 Mar 2020: 772
