  • Merging Two Bookings

I'll be flying PER-SIN-ARN in J with a stopover of a week or so in SIN. During this time I plan to do a trip to KUL. If I book a SIN-KUL-SIN flight in economy will SQ subsequently merge the two bookings? Or can I ring the call centre to book it all together at the same price?

What I'm looking to do is:

    PER-SIN-KUL//KUL-SIN-ARN

It's not possible to book this online.

    Many thanks.

I don't think what you are asking for is possible offline either.

Why do you want the ticket to be issued in this fashion though? If I am reading this correctly, it is because you are not, in fact, spending your stopover in SIN, but in KUL? And you need to be protected on your transfers in SIN in case the preceding flights are late?

If so, I suggest booking two one-ways: PER-SIN-KUL and KUL-SIN-ARN. Likely to be more expensive though, but you have to price it for yourself. Alternatively, book PER-SIN-ARN and SIN-KUL-SIN separately, but build in some buffer in SIN both ways. If all goes well, two hours will be more than what you need. If you are risk averse, four hours should be sufficient, but overnights will be better. FWIW, the morning SIN-KUL and vice versa shuttles tend to be more on-time than the later ones.

It should be possible to book PER-SIN-KUL//KUL-SIN-ARN all under one PNR booking - when you are in SQ booking website use the "Multi-city" function to book your different cities and see the fare, and then you can decide whether to put all under one booking or break it up.

agree and this may result in better pricing possibly.

Other than that, why OP needs to merge that 2 bookings?

Also I just notice the booking is not PER-SIN-PER which I assume it is but rather PER-SIN-ARN.

Why OP not trying to do PER-SIN-KUL and KUL-SIN-ARN. As I mentioend, it may end up with better price.

That's what I tried but I couldn't get it to work. I tried PER-KUL//KUL-ARN and PER-SIN-KUL//KUL-SIN-ARN without joy.

yeah I think because this is "one way" ticket. I guess you can make stop over in SIN but not flying to other city.

have you tried to do PER-SIN-KUL and KUL-SIN-ARN as 2 seperate tickets?

Why you need those in 1 PNR?

                Hi sydunipete.

You can call the contact center in singapore and have them book a SIN-KUL-SIN flight separately (might come out cheaper than buying a per-sin-kul and a kul-sin-arn). You can also buy a sinkulsin ticket online.

Once all are purchased, just have them link the bookings. Check-in counters will check you through if your transit time in singapore is less than 24hours.
