Heard Vietnam Airlines and Sri Lankan Airlines are being "persuaded" to shift to T3 too.

Personally, I would love to see EK move to T3.

Would be a bit difficult to get them to shift seeing as how they have their own lounge in T1.

To make that lounge, they took over the space that was once a viewing mall. A big No-No in my book..

I'm sure there's ample space on the mezzanine level for a spanking new EK lounge. will be nice to see EK planting the flag on SQ's doorstep and at the same time reinstate the old Swensen's area of T1 landside

Another possibility could be for all Skyteam airlines to shift to T3.

True that, but would they bother considering T1 is going through a major upgrade now? But I would seriously like to see more viewing areas, and yeah Swensons would be nice, as long as they bring back the old standards... Swenson's of late seem to be pretty crappy...

Why not put all *A in T3, ScaryTeam in T2 and OW in T1?

I think T3 is rather small compare to T1 and T2 (correct me if I am wrong). Hence a bit difficult to move all SQ operations to T3 alone, not to mentioned *A

SQ is able to move all its operations to T3, but was refused by Changi as it would cause T2 to be emptied. Already currently, with SQ cutting down on regional flights, most flights out of T2 are operated by Silkair.

If all SQ flights move to T3, is there still enough space for UA, QR, MU and the rest of other airlines currently using T3?

If no, then this airlines can move to T2 to fill the slot left by SQ.

I still doubt T3 can fully accommodate SQ flights

I think T3 can accommodate SQ flights, but i feel that its good they spread the usage of T2 and T3. Besides, T3 will normally be fully utilised at night when all the european, australian and japanese destinations depart at roughly about the same time.

T2 will be utilised for the regional flights for SQ and all MI flights.

T1 is indeed becoming a budget terminal in the day time where all the Jetstar, Air Asia just keeps coming in like flies throughout the day. But T1 really becomes messed up when the QF and the BA flights starts pouring in at night.
