One SIA executive was on a PVGSIN flight and out of a full J cabin of 42, there were 40 PPSses (excludes those in F, Y)

So it is the liquid staff. However, there might a small error....I think the Airline is now exclusively serving Tiger since the days they invested in Tiger Airways. I heard from Mr. Kong See Mee that the airline wanted additional income stream from big corporates so initially they have two choices in terms of Tiger symbols on the Jet i.e. The Tiger Beer's Tiger with a coconut tree and b. The Tiger closer to the one for Exxon.

In the end the Tiger Beer's Stripped cat with the coconut lost out as you imagine what a drunken tiger could do to a coconut tree. Perhaps the airline now is getting heavier hedged jet fuel from Exxon that the jet was leaking dollars through tailpipes. The fat cat investment bankers were on band aid after years of tipsy euphoria and came down to earth with a thump. So no more frying in the front for the fat cats.

However, fat cats have nine lives and are now filling the front. So happy equilibrium restored again with sky high prices and warm seats.

With the number of PPSes particularly on HKG, CKG and PVG which are particularly short - medium range flights, it is not likely the cabin crew will make it a point to personally greet every PPS onboard.

Imagine that if there are some more friendly PPSes or Grouchy PPSes the amount of time that the crew will have to spend talking to them. With a tight crew complement onboard, the other services will be affected.

I guess if a crew say hi on such a flight, it will be a real positive.

PS. kyo, you are getting a hint on the location..

    Been on a MNL with 36 LPP/TPP and QPP, and as a QPP4, I ranked 34th

there were 3 SENs also, so 39/42 in J were at least *G I distinctly remember one of the SEN's asking the gate agent if there was a chance for an upgrade, and being told he was "a LONG way down the list"

All those QPP/TPPs and FIVE LPPs on one flight? Whoa... many potential PITA-situations on board, methinks... not an easy one for the crew. Very curious to know the route

started a topic 50 PPSes on one FlightM

    50 PPSes on one FlightM

I understand that on one flight I was on there was a combined 50 LPPS, TPPS and PPSes and this is not CGK nor HKG flight. This is the largest number I heard....Understand there was 5 LPPS and more than a dozen TPPS onboard. Is this an exception or a fact?

I was also told that generally the HKG and CGK flights have the largest concentration of PPSes onboard. Anywhere else?
Working...
