The new 9" screens in Y have started appearing... they look like the ones from Exec-Y in the A345 from years gone by...

It's very expensive to move monuments.

I had just been TGed by SQ today on SQ 421. My bulkhead 17A became 2nd row and I only found it out when I boarded the plane.

I need to rant because when I requested the seats via PPS office last week, I was informed that the plane would be the one with 2 rows of J seats in the 2nd cabin and thus row 17 was bulkhead. I confirmed that again about 12 hours before my flight when I did internet check in. So, you could imagine my disappointment when I boarded the plane to find my 17A was no longer a bulkhead seat.

    Welcome to the club...
Got the same case two weeks ago...
Looks like this practice become more common now...

Looks like there's no sure way to be 100% sure whether 16 or 17 is the bulkhead row until one has learned the aircraft registration or until one steps on board. I really don't know why SQ could not just have 1 configuration for this refurbished 772's.

The only way I can tell looking at a KVS or Expertflyer seatmap is to see whether 16C/H or 17C/H is blocked to tell the difference.
I smell a rant brewing about this subject from a prominent SQ AND SQT TPP...

I have mentioned this previously in post # 169 (Page 12 of this thread), also attach the seat maps there. Agree with you on the expertflyer seatmap, that is the only way we will know.

Also noticed something new on the seat maps, some economy bulkhead/bassinet seats (those at row 31, 44 & 45) have an abbreviation "L" indicated, it means "May have smaller screens".

But sometime SQ made last minute aircraft swap....
SQ swept my last SQ859 from 26 fore, 12 aft config (when I pre-select my seat some 72 hours before flight and also when OL check in 48 hours before) into 20 fore, 18 aft cabin config without notice...

Fear not! One of the very nice things about flying on SQ is that the stewardesses block the aisles to prevent that from happening. They also block the Business Class passengers from stampeding through the First Class cabin while the First Class passengers are disembarking -- though three cabin aircraft usually disembark through two airbridges.
