    When out for meals with my British acquaintances, they sometimes think they could get a refund if they find bits of plastic or strands of hair in their food.

    It happens to everyone everywhere.

    The gut is not a sterile environment anyway. If something can't be digested, it'd pop out at a later stage.

      I remembered the guy based in HKG who sued SQ for having glass pieces in his drink. Subsequently they found it to be false claim.

        I suppose you get the difficult sorts anywhere you go, just that I think Singapore has a good rpoportion, but I agree this may be a developed world problem.... HKG for e.g.

        Point is - I think we all need to give and take a bit more, whether we live in Singapore or elsewhere.
