+1. My calling times have between 8:00am to midnight over the months.

You must be calling thru the special PPS number, correct?

I normally find it's "easier" to get through when I call them from 2am onwards SIN time... It's alright for me as I'm based in Norway so it's evening where I am...

I called 3 times before, each time waiting for maybe 5 min until I finally got through the last time.

Yes, there is a special PPS hotline that goes to the PPS coordinators(whom I think has magical powers for making things happen). Usually picked up in a jiffy but only open during office hours.

The time I made the call yesterday was around 4:30PM. Finally, another staff use a special number ( I think it's the PPS hotline ) and got thru. Apparently, able to call thru is a perk?

Not being a very patient person, I just dread making these calls. I had previously tried to call morning, afternoon, even midnight and still have to endure this endless waiting and that stupid answering machine

Yes, I called the 24 hrs reservation number. Whenever possible, I tried to do my flight changes online but sometimes, it is not possible when the change involve a multi-city itenary for some reasons.

    Haha Kyo, Oh I see.

Another way I tried is, instead of choosing the PPS/Krisflyer option (you need to key in your membership #), choose the normal reservations option and select Suites/First/Biz class option, for me it comes through fast.

My experience differs with yours, then, feb01mel - I tend to be luckier when I call after 8pm... although there was this one time when a few SQTalkers watched as the phone rang for 1hr and 20 mins and nobody picked up... (usually 10:30pm is OK, after midnight is also good etc..)

My take is, call them between singapore time 8am to 8pm, thereafter, it is always on hold, sometimes they may have knock off (not 24 hours) and they just put the recorder as if they are busy.

It's a hit-and-miss thing, especially during peak hours (which seems to be anytime one can see the sun in the Singapore sky)....

Once I had the T3 SKL staff calling (from the SKL reservations desk) on two phones to KF, and I called by mobile, and somehow I got put through faster... so even they don't have a direct line.

SQ Reservation Call centre - Always Busy!

Is it just me or it is always near impossible to get thru to SQ reservation number in Singapore? Always busy and force to put on hold seemingly endlessly at times. Just yesterday, I give up after waiting online for 10 mins to speak to a human being. This aspect of SQ service reall sucks.

Then since I was at the T3 kf lounge, I got the counter staff to call instead and she ended up waiting for another 20 mins without sucess.
Working...
