Axing MXP-BCN-MCP doesn't free up any 77W. It is only a few hours a day. I wonder if there will be any timing adjustment for MXP flights, or even equipment changes?

No please Singapore airlines, don't do that!Although we have a stop in Milan that is the best option from Barcelona to Australia/New Zealand by far; sick of spending hours at heathrow/schipol/zurich/... To be honest i flew twice the route last december and january and plane was half full, had a good sleep from singapore to barcelona!!.
Anyone knows when that's going to happen? i'm on that flight in may

Yes. SIN-MXP does fairly well. IIRC SQ does not have 5th freedom rights for that MXP-BCN. (Can anyone confirm this?)

That's correct. SQ has not 5th freedom for MXP-BCN

As for cutting IAH, I'm not so sure that will happen anytime soon due likely to Corp contracts. On a recent flight, 1/4 of the C seats were taken by 1 company; who will remain name-less; and it happens quite often as well.
