How will the A330s be redeployed now that some flights are getting axed?

In general, the A330s will be deployed on higher yield regional routes with strong competitors.

With QF making a comeback (of sorts) for the SIN-BOM market from mid-May, giving both SQ and 9W a run for their money, do you think SQ will deploy A330 in the foreseeable future?

I think BOM is a possible destination for the reconfigured 777-300s or the A330-300s.

OMG, yet ANOTHER one of these threads? And especially in the case of the A330, there has already been a press release and this topic has been covered in all the other threads. Noise!

Quite, and with the existing thread a number of threads further down the same page.

Try and have a look for an exisiting thread before starting a new one on the same topic please folks.

                      Muchas Gracias.

Before blowing a gasket , please note that SQ333's thread is about the test flight with some information about pre-inaugural flights. These posts (which were in the new thread) cover speculation and discussion about further deployment past the inaugural.

Keeping those subjects separate might make it easier to search for relevant posts.

Completely understand. However, with regard to the A330, how is speculation even relevant since SQ has already released their deployment schedule. Retarded as it is, the A380 thread has much more merit as we have no idea of SQ's plans.

At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised is someone started a "Where will the A350 (or 787) be deployed next?" thread.

Just saying that it's rather tiring and jumping the shark. [/RANT OFF]

Perhaps I didn't make it clear. True that SQ has already released their deployment schedule for the A333s, but I was originally asking what would happen to those birds that were already scheduled to be used on now-canceled flights (an unexpected development in February). Granted there are other contributions about future flights, and this is indeed speculatory in nature, but I was asking a much more immediate question, I think, not about future A380s or, worse, B787s and what not
