To prevent official A380 news from getting buried in this rather long thread, I have created a sticky. Please continue to discuss the A380 here.

The SQ A380 will have 471 seats in three classes: economy, business and the new Singapore Airlines Suites -- "a class beyond First".

A little bird spotted this Airbus A380 at Changi on Monday. Not sure it it's still around though... I hope I'll be able to see our very own 9V-SKA when I'm in Changi in two weeks!

Heehee... Let me show you folks something later. Not actually 9V-SKA, but related to the A380 programme.

A better-than-F class in the A380? Why not just call it the G class for God-Like-Treatment class. For this to happen, SQ will have to totally redefine what First Class really means.
This will be interesting to watch...

Guest repliedOriginally posted by zvezda View PostThey need that in the SKL. They should just ban smoking completely and convert the smoking rooms into family rooms. I'm sick of children running screaming through the SKL. One of them even grabbed food from my plate, stuffed it in its mouth, and ran off.

The fact they offer about a dozen if you consider all the regional variations seems lost on some at SQ, but this shouldn't come as a surprise as they've been living in their own little world for a while now.
It will be interesting to see this new F. Particularly as there have been a number who have believed there was no such new product.
