I was fortunate to watch SQ308 on its take-off roll, rotation and gear-up, on 02L from my left-side window seat, taking off concurrently on 02C.

I'd have done the same thing if I ran SQ - since it's a special flight with lots of attention.

I don't however, think that any BEEB or CNN employee who walks up to the counter on a regular flight and flashes his company card will get an opup though.
