  • SQ 1st class seat on 77W

I am planning to fly SQ 1st class RTW and have a choice of 744 or 77W flights. I would prefer to take the 77W because of the new 1st class product, but I am concerned that I will not be able to stretch out when sleeping due to the length of the seat being 71" rather than the 78" on the 744. I am 6'4". How do other people manage?

The F seat on the 777-300ER is extremely wide and is meant for sleeping along the diagonal, which is about 78". Either the JumboJet or the 777-300ER is great in F. I would choose based on schedule convenience.

Not necessarily. One can sleep in F on the 777-300ER in just about any position in which one can sleep alone in a bed.

If you are concerned about sleeping, then go for the 777-300ER
You are not, who you are, you are who you want to be.

IMO, I prefer the MegaTop Seats for the following reason: when the plane starts to bounce over the Pacific, I like to be in a seated position. On the Sky Suites, I just press the button and my 'bed' turns back into a seat. With the new first class seats, I have to get unbuckled and have the FA do it. When things *really* get interesting, they are busy securing the cabin and buckling down themselves.
