The seat map for SQ638/637 still show new product on 1/1.
So maybe SKT will be deployed. Or they will have to use another version 3 pulled from somewhere else. But really they have not much option to pull

9V-SKT test flight is only 30 mins while SKS have a 2 hours test flight last time in June.
Wonder whether SKT will be ready in time for service or will SKT undergo another test flight ?

That was what happened for one week previously. You might get exactly what you booked.

They probably are being at least partially compensated by Airbus/insurance/refit contractor, depending on who is at fault.

Anyone knows really what happened to SKT as almost a year for refitting and maintenance is just simply way too long. Something must have gone badly wrong and very likely some heavy structural damage to the aircraft. SQ must have lost a few million on this plane being grounded for so long.

11 months is really a long time for an active aircraft to be grounded. Is a 30min ascend-descend air test sufficient to check the serviceability of the aircraft... id expect a lot of parts would have had to be mothballed, stripped and then reinstalled.

Yep finally a bit of sign for the aircraft! Best most of us thought the plane was eaten alive by the ailens

But it shows cancelled for now, but with test flight entries, a lot of changes possible.

They need a plane to be ready for Paris by July 2020. So SKN should be in the process of maintainance/refitting. Right now they have less usage for version 2 A380.

A380 has been taken out of SQ 802 for my flight in June, replaced with B77W. Now gotta figure out how to get back into a Suites cabin
