A380 Suites Bed

I just took a suite class flight on A380 last week earlier this week and they definitely out a mattress + duvet cover.

Hmmm ..... can't really relate to your post as the A380 seats don't fold down to a bed like the biz seats. It's the back panel / wall that converts to a bed but they'll need to fold the seats so that the panel with the mattress in the other side folds down to become the bed.

Do you have a photo to show what you had?

On a recent A380 night flight in Suites, they made up the bed for me just by folding down the seat.

I thought there's a mattress that's meant to be placed on top?

Has SQ stopped using the additional mattress?
