Resulted in SQ104|01MAY (SIN-KUL) being operated by 9V-SME (A359) instead of the normally scheduled 737 Max.

SQ439|06MAY (KTM-SIN) operated by 9V-MGL diverted to Kolkata after suspected tailstrike on departure.

SQ439|06MAY (KTM-SIN) operated by 9V-MGL diverted to Kolkata after suspected tailstrike on departure.

Which resulted in SQ516|06MAY being swapped to A350. 9V-SHS operated the flight to ferry the stranded pax and scheduled pax from Kolkata.

Funnily enough, someone actually caught a picture of it on approach to Kolkata. The damage was likely not serious as it is scheduled to go back into service tomorrow.

9V-MGE will be mounting rescue flight to CEB with the following schedule:

SQ23 (JFK-SIN) operated by 9V-SGB on 1st June was rescheduled to SQ9023 and departed almost 1 day late. Understand plane was already ready for takeoff but return to the gate.

There was also a problem with SQ23 (JFK-SIN) operated by 9V-SGD landed on 03 June and didn't leave JFK.

Coincidentally, SQ21 and SQ23 are being routed over the Northern Pacific with effect from the start of this month.

This is the first time that the return flights from NY are heading back this way, with the closure of Russian airspace blocking the polar route option, and weaker tailwinds eastwards during this time of the year.

Indeed, this is due to temporary closure of Swiss airspace on account of a computer glitch this morning. SQ346 is timed to leave MUC at 0900 GMT for ferry to ZRH (according to flightradar).
