  • Cabin crew without Singaporean passport?

Hello, I'm wondering, can you work as cabin crew at SQ without being a Singaporean passport holder or PR? Let's say you live somewhere in Europe and only fly to and from your home city to Singapore, is that possible?

They do have outside SG vacancies, however not many come up for non-Asia that often.

    Take a look here.

SIA does have cabin crew from few countries like Thailand, Malaysia, PRC, Japanese, Korean etc - but they are all based in SIN and all have their respective passports.

Yes, but you have to open the link to see further details. As flyguy mentions they have their own passports but will be based in SG.

Rare to find vacancies in EU though as requirements are more Asian markets based and the airlines main market are English spoken or APAC dominated.

At the end of the day, if you work with SQ you will get a Singapore employment visa (EP, S Pass, etc.). SQ does have quite a few foreigners working with the company, be it in the air or on the ground. At one time they even had Pilots from Norway.
God must have been a ship owner, he placed the raw materials far from where they are needed and covered two-thirds of the earth with water...
