A380 suite query

Hi all, like to check with experts here. Do all SQ A380 comes in suite class instead of 1st class? Reason I am asking is because I redeemed a suite class ticket on a A380 flight from Auckland to Singapore on SQ286 this March. However, I was just checking the e ticket and it shows that the class I am in is actually First instead of Suite. So I am checking whether there are actually some A380 configuration in their fleet that do not have Suite but only first class. Hope that someone can help to clarify. Thanks in advance!

Yes, all A380s have suites instead of first class seats. There are no A380s that have first class seats, like you would find on a 777, installed.

First, Suites, Residence, Bungalow, Istana ... who knows what the marketing people will call it. But there will be a re-design. My bet will be that it'll be a major one. rather than a simple paint job.

Is it the same redo to fit PEY or another redo ? I took the A380 with the PEY, and all they did was change the seat covers...

No, this is a new redesign for the Suites and business seats in the A380s that SQ still has on order, which will start arriving in 2017.

Just like to check with those that have taken this route before why there isn't any "book the cook" option for this flight?
