Hello all!
I have a question about the SQ-ANZ Alliance.
So both ANZ and SQ formed an alliance, and with that ANZ began operating to Singapore again (I think in 2015?). Both ANZ and SQ also codeshared on each other's flights.
However, I do not understand why didn't SQ operate new flights, instead of giving it up to ANZ. It's not like ANZ will pay SQ to run the route. If the demand was not able to support the additional flights? Can't SQ run seasonal flights, or extra 3 weekly flights instead?
