Singapore Airlines’ flights to both Canberra and Wellington will not return even as international travel restrictions ease, with the carrier making a departure from both national capitals.
The withdrawal also marks the end of Singapore Airlines’ trans-Tasman flying, as Wellington was linked with Singapore via Melbourne.
Wonder how many A350s will SIA received or be built completely by Dec 2020, as SIA has originally have 12 A350s to be delivered tis financial year and 3 Boeing 787s.
There are currently 4 SQ A350-900 aircraft in the Final stages of production. 9V-SHP, 9V-SHQ, 9V-SHR and 9V-SHS. SHP and SHQ are undergoing flight testing. SHR and SHS are having their cabins and engines fitted. No other SQ A350s are currently on the FAL. So we will have 4 SQ A350s completed before December 2020.
As for the SQ 787-10s, there is only 9V-SCP completed at the Boeing Assembly Plant. She has done only 1 test flight since early April and looks like she is currently being stored at the Boeing Assembly Plant at Charleston. No other SQ 787-10 is currently being built.

wooah. sounds like SQ will have to take delivery of them.
they mentioned recently they managed to "negotiate the delay of some deliveries" - any idea does that include SHP/R/S?
(btw what happened to SHQ)
Not sure what the negotiations entailed regarding delaying the deliveries. SHP, SHQ, SHR and SHS could all be stored in Toulouse or elsewhere. Just guessing.
9V-SHQ has been spotted in full colours on the Flightline though no one has taken or posted a photo of her yet. She only rolled out onto the FL on 7 August.
