The apron folks at Changi must be working super hard to find space for 4 more A350s & 2 more A320s these few days. There’s 200+ planes on the ground now so kudos to them.

There are currently 2 SQ A350s awaiting delivery, 9V-SHR & 9V-SHS. As far as I am aware, there are no other SQ A350s in the FAL or Delivery Centre, so we do not expect any more deliveries this year other than the 2 mentioned.Originally posted by flyguy View PostNice 3 more A350s coming back to Changi home base

SQ's A350 Delivery Flights usually take place in the late evening. 9V-SHP & 9V-SHQ broke the trend with early evening Delivery Flights, thus allowing them to be photographed.

Looking at a snapshot of the fleet between 2014-2019, in essence the 350 regionals are replacements for the 34x A330s, as are the long haul 350s for the 772ERs with some extras. The real growth is from the 787s... which basically will end up being triple the number of (previously) 11x regional 772s.

So many regional A350s. I feel the 77Ws will hardly fly again after the Corona. A380s likely only the newer ones to fly. So that will be lots of regional A350s serving routes like MEL...
