Thanks for sharing this info, fablee! Always nice to see new planes being delivered. I Googled the rego to see what plane this was (It's a 787), and was pleasantly surprised to see that this rego was reused from a previous plane, which was an SQ DC-10!Originally posted by fablee View Post

I was intrigued by the "California Here We Come" decal and did more Googling...
Here's a great MainlyMiles article that details how SQ negotiated rights to fly to the USA, starting first with DC-10's flying to San Francisco via Hong Kong and Honolulu, before transitioning to 747-200 Super B's.
