SQ 325 : SIA plane experiences hydraulic problems on landing
A Singapore Airlines (SIA) plane returning to Singapore from Frankfurt experienced hydraulic problems which affected the steering of its nose wheel when it landed at Changi Airport on Saturday.
An SIA spokesman said Flight SQ325, which departed from Frankfurt on Aug19, experienced a fault with its hydraulic system just after take-off.
This affected the steering of the front wheel, which is used to manoeuvre the aircraft on the ground. In line with standard operating procedures, the spokesman said, airport emergency services were activated at Changi Airport.
The plane landed without incident at Terminal 3 at around 4.15pm, and was towed to its parking bay.
