Was on 9V-SPE on my flight back and the air conditioner had some problem - I had to use a the on-board menu to fan myself cos it was getting really uncomfortable. Even the crew acknowledged that it is an inherent problem on this flight...

suffice to say that shall be my last flight on a 744.

Are the 747's likely to fly this route later this year? I belive the 747's leave the fleet late this year.
