I have to say my experience with USA and its plethora of airports is an area where I'm a novice. I have no shame in admitting that there are plenty of other experts on here who would be able to suss this out in a second...

Anyway, I decided to get creative and I've re-routed back transpacific. Sadly, I will once again miss my opportunity for a TATL flight. (never done this before, and it's on my list of things to do...)

I also have no clue about which American carrier hubs where/connects through where etc...

Departing California, so SFO or LAX are probably the likely departure points (but prefer SFO, personally), which *A carriers offer F redemptions into anywhere in Europe apart from LH?

The intention is to then use that European destination as a transit point into BKK.

I'm thinking LX is my only option, am I right?
