QF, BA and CX have this. So do AF and BR. Now LH has it. Your move, SQ.

Better, but I'm not overly impressed with just a tiny screen between it and Y where other airlines actually put it in it's own little space.

Proper footrest only in first row, same as CX. Not really worth getting excited about...

Needs to be done the comfort gap between a flatbed & a 32" pitch seat with 6" recline is huge, Most airlines find W to be profitable.

Indeed, according to this WSJ article.

No need for premium economy on JL.

Their economy seat dimensions impresses me!

on a related note, anyone here sampled Air Canada's PE before? I'm scheduled for a long one from HKG-YVR and wondering what to expect. Very few TRs on AC's PE so far; evals of AC's EY is completely bad it seems

A full Y cabin on JAL's 787, laid out 2-4-2, did not feel crowded at all. A very comfortable way to fly longhaul Y.

Too bad these days they use a 767 from Singapore to Tokyo.

Negatives: Painful, painful seat after 2 hours. Same seat width/fixed armrests on the bulkhead. "Fish rice, chicken rice?"

2 fish nuggets and diced potatoes with odd diced carrot. Dinner served 1 hour after take-off, nothing else until touchdown on a 7 hour flight. Curtain between Y+ / Y, never closed. 4/14 occupied, Purser also resting in Y+. Wanted 3.5x of a return ticket price to upgrade to J, either direction, each. Very little *A J redemption availability 2 weeks out. Travelsky GDS impossible to find reservation.

Positives: Better flight timings. Yup, that's all.

any pics (of the seat, in particular)? SeatGuru gives you a width of 17" and pitch of 37" - did it feel anything like? TR soon?

It felt more cramped than an SQ seat and the seat was same as any other CA Y seat on the plane. Should've switched to the second row mid section as there were three middle seats unoccupied but I had set up my laptop/workflow by the time I'd noticed.

No further TR, I'm afraid. No pics, I think I've posted some CA pics somewhere ages ago on their previous product, with the same Y.

Gonna give my first try with premium economy with BR in about two weeks as the price was very interesting for the Singapore-Taipei route....Let's see how it goes. The LH one looks decent but I am not that impressed.

I was contemplating BR PE for a SIN-YVR trip, but ended with AC. Was thinking of a TR but have been too busy with work; maybe later. Perhaps you can post some pics of BR seats and amenities, even a TR?
