I've diverted almost my entire spend over to Citi Prestige Mastercard, slightly outdoes the PRVI. Also shunting 5k every three months over to HSBC's Visa in the hopes that might prove useful in the future. (probably better for that other thread)
On a side note, it was the most complicated sign-up process I've ever had to undergo with Citi. The most complicated in general was HSBC...

Thai's MasterCard specials come up quite often. My colleague got a SIN-FRA ticket in J for about S$4k all in.
It was a mix of TG F and J I got for my last trip and all in was about S$6k on the A380 each way so definitely can't complain about TG's pricing. Service is pretty good and we're back on TG again in October to Korea and Japan. Thai gets all my money, KF all my miles and SQ all my redemptions.

And just to antagonise UK F pax even more the swap from A346 to 744 with new F has now also been reversed. You just gotta laugh.

"New" as in the 380 ? I'm trying to book a one-way from France (or anywhere in Europe for that matter) but only CDG has the 380 and fully booked at the date I want, only seat available from ZRH & LHR but on 346 or 744 with an old cabinOriginally posted by MAN Flyer View PostAll 744 flights from LHR are supposed to have the 'New' F cabin with 9 seats.

I was in TG's A380 F heading to FRA (Durian; add FRA to your search) last year but was a little disappointed with the lack of privacy, especially compared to J seats on the same aircraft which I had on the return. The 'walls' were lower in F but looking at the photos of the new F on these 744 it looks like they are higher than on the A380.
Everything else in F on the A380, from service to comfort to that huge toilet up front is excellent so will try to remember all before my 744 flight.
I have seat 1K pre-assigned already on the 744 so the only thing left to do is get my seat assignment in J for the A380 to FRA.

Situation is: 1 380 daily from CDG, one 346 and one 380 from FRA daily, one 346 from ZRH daily, one 744 and one 346 from LHR daily.
both 380 flights from CDG and FRA are fully booked.
About the 744 from LHR, my problem is that there seems to be 2 F on the 744:

Right.....was on TG's flight departing lunchtime Monday and was beside myself with disappointment to find the OLD F seats, not suites. I had reconfirmed with Thai prior to booking that LHR 744's were to have the new seats but........
Seated in 1K I had more privacy than most others on the flight (which was full) but everything was rundown. Carpeting was threadbare in places, the seat had holes, storage was dreadful and the toilets tiny. To consider that LHR should be considered a premium route I find it surprising that TG should treat it so badly. I don't want to say anything negative about the French but why does CDG get improved before LHR?
On the plus side, TG's excellent service was in evidence again and whilst old, the seat itself was relatively comfortable even for sleeping.

Like you I had called TG and they said it's a new cabin... what a turn off !
I have to agree that CDG-BKK is big tourist route but LHR would, I'm sure, fill up the premium cabins...
