Any particular reason why you're surprised?

Yes this is a reinstatement of an old route. Branson's always been wanting to come back to ORD. Surprised that it's with an A343 though.

Most likely will be the case, unfortunately.

Guess this'll lead to even more crowded planes on the SIN-LHR route.

VS to fly LHR-ORD daily from 23Apr

    Title says it:

    http://www.usatoday.com/travel/fligh...e_x.htm?csp=34

    Brief excerpt:
LONDON (AP) — Virgin Atlantic Airways said Monday it will begin a daily service between London Heathrow and Chicago's O'Hare International Airport next year.

Chicago, which will become Virgin Atlantic's 28th destination worldwide, will be the airline's tenth U.S. gateway after it begins flights on April 23.

On another note, does that mean that SQ will not return to ORD but codeshare on VS?
