One of the strangest incidents I read about decades years ago was that of somebody deciding to cook his own food on board because he disliked the inflight meal.

    Started a fire on board.

Early today, however, I got a unusual but pleasant surprise. My teenaged daughter was displaced to a Jetstar flight after QF cancelled PER-SIN flights but went to PER airport without her wallet and had a phone with a flat battery and then informed that the flight was delayed at least 5 hrs!

Penniless and alone, she walked to the QF J Lounge and asked if they may be nice enough to charge her phone. They were and also invited her to spend her 5hr wait there. So nice.

Sounds like he would've still missed his flight

Not The Smartest Day in Aviation

A couple of strange incidents today, seems like the stupidity has been kept to OneWorld. Any SQTalkers responsible?
