  • Big Day of Flying - TG Royal Silk BKK-TPE, CX Business Class TPE-HKG-BKK

    Hi Guys,

For no reason other than: 1. I love to fly and 2. status run for Qantas Frequent flyer, I decided to make this same day turnaround from Bangkok to Taipei and back again.

I had only just arrived from Melbourne to Bangkok quite late the night before so I was pretty exhausted by the end of this day!

As I have already uploaded all the pics (there is LOADS of them) and the report to my blog, please read them there.

    Appreciate all comments!

Flight 1: TG634 Bangkok to Taipei

Flight 2: CX511 Taipei to Hong Kong

Flight 3: CX703 Hong Kong to Bangkok

    Thanks for reading

Yeah I had promised my own take on CX J after your previous trip report.

I am on a silly little mission to become Qantas Gold, maybe platinum. So im probably going to get used to doing CX regional J, and might get familiar with TPE and maybe ICN!

Thanks for sharing. Informative TR and nice pics. The Sony P&S seems really good!

I don't think I'd do a turnaround for Taipei. I think there's quite a lot of nice things to eat in the city.

thank all, I quite liked the A340 'coffin' seat, even though I heard they are getting rid of it again soon with another new seat
