Free ferry to view the Statue of Liberty? I was there last year and I had to pay for my ride. Mine did stop on Staten Island though. Is the free service new?My Cafe Adventures

SQFan, you are quite a photographer. Wow! all very nice pictures. I believe I was in NYC 1 week before you and was (as always) very impressed with Time SQUARE at night. Too bad I suck big time at taking night pictures.
Also, it seemed to me that it was a scaffolding seasons in NYC during the summer time - even the Guggenheim was all full of scaffoldings.

Was in Boston for an "exchange programme" and popped over to NYC over the weekend. I caught Phantom at Broadway.

Very soon, you'll be flying the friendly skies like the rest of us here (except me, this poor man who has to wait for official invites). Let me know when you make it big like CGK, who flies like we drink water (Singaporean slang).Originally posted by WSSS View PostNice pictures, SQFAN, hope to see more of these good quality pictures soon. NYC is really a nice and big city. I haven't even crossed the International Date Line yet, so going to NYC is something that I want to go to soon.

Maybe the most in Y+, F and C to the other side of the world? Not happening for me now, only the rich people can afford it. C to anywhere in the world, not bad for a teen.Originally posted by The High Flyer View PostVery soon, you'll be flying the friendly skies like the rest of us here (except me, this poor man who has to wait for official invites). Anyway, as long as I'm flying Y on SQ or CX it should be fine. I fly like I drink water? Impossible in my life unless I strike gold!

Well, CGK does that. I'm still wondering how he manages to do that.Originally posted by WSSS View PostI fly like I drink water? Impossible in my life unless I strike gold!

I think it's St Paul's at 50th and 5th. IIRC SQFAN was around that area?Originally posted by upright man View PostI like the one with the view of the cathedral in between the 2 modern skyscrapers - which cathedral is that - is it St Paul's ?All opinions shared are my own, and are not necessarily those of my employer or any other organisation of which I'm affiliated to.
