Thanks for the mountain pics, CGK. I love views like that.
So far, my collection includes the Alps, the Pyrenees and the Himalayas. I need to get some Rocky Mountain and Andes shots soon!

I took my chances when taking those pictures. Mixed the standard and tele lens set up (Sorry, still learning how to use the small digi camOriginally posted by taipeiflyer View Postbreathtaking- take me there now!
). And yeah, the windows on AZ flight was not that sparkling clean.
Glad it captured the view I saw from the plane.

Prior to land at JFK 12JUL2007
Here are the pictures prior to land in your beloved city, jjpb3!

Far far away to the right, you see the golden bird parked for that day before departing back to FRA in the evening!

I'm pretty sure the two villages are Arona and Angera.
Now i'm serious, Angera is a very little country but it has a very nice fort, where some movies have been shot. Moreover, there's a private museum about trams, cablecars (i love them!) and you can see and touch everything.
I used to be brought there by my grandparents when i was 5-8.Last edited by LukeGT; 1 August 2007, 03:01 PM.
