To be fair, he just said 'better'!
    That itself is pretty telling.

Some great words KeithMEL and jjpb3 - I think the added bonus of the SQTalk community is an additional layer of gold on the Golden Goose!

I guess it is better late than never, so congratulations jjpb3 on th op-ups. I never experience CX F but I have to say that its C and Y hardwares are a bit behind those of SQ. In terms of crews, however, both SQ and CX crews are always very pleasant and warm.

Congrads jjpb3! Still something special to be in that elite cabin even if it is only a regional sector.

I'm also flying Traitor Air today TPE-HKG-LAX. Currently inside the TPE lounge.

When did the planning for the weekend, i was thinking of tagging along jjpb3 to HKG on CX. So, now I wonder whether I would get an op-up if I were did it.

I think if your sapphire status is in the booking you stand a pretty good chance. That's my experience with AA PLT flying CX anyway, although all I flew with them were regional routes. I've even heard of Rubys and 'no status' pax get upgraded before! Someone told me (or I could've read it on cathaytalk ) that it's not as easy nowadays but I think they are still pretty generous compared to other airlines.
