  • Free Flight For Life

Heard rumours that if the baby is born during the flight, he or she will have the privilege to fly for free their entire life. How true is this?

Depends on airline and depends on airline's generosity.

And it's actually quite a flight risk to purposely 'plan' for this...

That for one. Second, I can't imagine what the conversation would be between the mother-to-be and her partner to get to that point.

Im pretty sure SouthWest had a child born onboard a flight in 2009. They said free flights for life for the child.

          It was Air Asia.

There was also a baby born in a Kia and the parents named her Kia. They got a free Carens from Kia.

          BTW, great avatar.

Don't think any couple will "plan" that. Most airline restrict flight from 32th or 35th week of pregnancy. It would be "pre-mature" birth.
