Well if VirtualTourist.com can pull this off...
We should come up with an SQTalk "Good, Bad and Ugly" list, do a press release and see if the mass newswires will pick it up. (We do seem to have an occasional poster here who finds us some interesting news articles from time to time...

I've never heard of the Blind Beggar in London but its only distinctions seem to be that it's where the Salvation Army was founded and also where an unlucky victim of the Kray twin gangsters was shot.
And as for the Eagle and Child in Oxford - meeting place of C S Lewis and others - I suggest that the Eagle pub in the other place has just as much a claim to fame, e.g. where Crick and Watson announced their discovery of the secret of life!
Just another random list without much thought IMHO!

I've got HUGE problems with White Horse Tavern (WHATEVER), First and Last Chance Bar (Oaktown???), and Fink's (come on, Israel?!). I mean, what about the King Cole Bar in the original St. Regis??? The home to the Bloody Mary and some of the richest history in America just before the Titanic??? MORONS!
