Normal Tech Student Wants to be Pilot

I have a friend who is in the normal technical stream in singapore
Currently secondary 3. He wish to be a pilot. And knowing that i am a forum member of SQTalk.

Please advise him what must he do to be a pilot.

He request me to help me to ask. So, SQTalkers, Please Help.

I think your friend must take admission in a aviation institute, it will help him to get knowledge of pilot training. All the best.

He is taking "aviation technology" cuz in ITE.
Then after his army, he wants to go to the singapore flying club.

For starters, ask him to study hard..he will need at least A levels or Poly diploma (preferably a degree)

"GCE ‘A’ level, Polytechnic Diploma or Degree. In addition, you must have obtained a minimum of 5 Credits in the GCE ‘O’ level or its equivalent. These must include English, Mathematics and a Science subject, preferably Physics, taken at one sitting "
