  • Pictures - Batch Operations

OK, here's the deal. My pictures comes in typically around 2MB. For me to post TR, I have to manually resize each to 25% of the original and that comes to around 200K per picture. It becomes a pain in the rear to do this when I have a very large number to manipulate.

Is there any software (freeware preferred) out there that can allow me to batch convert these? I currently use Paint Shop Pro.

I got one, simple program. Gotten here:

Nothing fancy, but does the job well. Have been using it for ages. Reliable too.

I simply upload my pictures (up to 5M in size depending on the camera) to Flickr and Flickr automatically produces large, medium and small sizes.

IMHO the best one to use (assuming you're running Windows) is a small app called Picture Resizer, it's a part of PowerToys:

          http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx

Not to mention it's free. You only need to right click the file(s) and they do the job for you.
