A bit long overdue... Melbourne airport is a good airport, compact, simple and easy to use. However, it's in need of some facelift or major makeover. Can't wait to see the new face of Melbourne gateway to the world...

I hope SIA will be flying there with a new 380 sooner or later :-) MEL is still one of my favorite airports around. Much more comfy than SYD.

MELBOURNE'S lanes, the Bolte Bridge and Federation Square will be the inspiration for the biggest upgrade to Melbourne Airport's international terminal.

Melbourne Airport's new chief executive, Chris Woodruff, who will detail the $330 million expansion at tonight's annual general meeting, said the changes would ease congestion at the terminal, which is expected to be used by 8 million passengers a year by 2020, almost double current levels.
