    It's being renovated, and yes reconstruction of TBIT terminal at LAX is already 9 months behind schedule. They barely started to tear down Aisle E & F. Also, new bagroom is under construction which will eliminate the TSA lines.

    For those, such as I, curious about the refurbishment of LAX and progress on its abitious if much-delayed Master Plan, this website claims to have up-to-date info.

    The last I heard (several months ago, but nothing recent) was that it was being renovated due to structural issues with the arches.

    ETA: This page from the LAX site has a bit of information.

    was looking at this SQ 777W when i notice the Dome building at LAX being torn down. Is it being torn down or is it being remodeld?
