  • IHG Hotels in HK

Could not find any reports or feedback on any IHG propeties in HK...I intend to stay in mid Oct at HI Golden Mile @ TST....any one can give any feedback on the hotel and the rates.

The rates quoted by the hotel is quite expensive and does not include internet broadband unless I pay for the Club Room with club floor benefits.

Try IC Grand Stanford, they are always reasonably priced I think...

The HI Golden Mile is much closer to the "action" on Nathan Road. IC GS is good if you're ambassador, otherwise, a little bit further out on Mody road.

Agree, I am an Ambassador there, and my corporate rate with IC GS give me only a daily rate of HKG 1,000 which is very good and I cannot find this rate at any other five star hotel in HKG.

Yes, it is a little bit further from the MTR station, but if the weather is cool, it is a nice little walk.

Have stayed at HI Golden Mile couple of times over the last 2 years. Pretty central location. Rooms are decent like any other HI. MTR entrance is just a few steps away from the main lobby and the Airport Express Shuttle stops right in front of the HI.

hi Nick C, agree with u on the baove commenst which is why I would like to stay at HI Golden Mile if possible n the rates are resonable enough....even I pot for advance payment...the cheapest is around HKD 2,400 ....

as for using F&F voucher, its good...only drawback is no points collection....

Every now and then, one can find the Langham Place offering that kind of rates and those are public straight off their webbie.

Question to all, why stay in Kowloon, its the 'dirty side'

Mostly for the views of HK island, for me

Also like the busy atmosphere at night along TST to Mongkok... some great street food!

Couldn't agree more with Kyo on the reasons of staying in Kowloon instead of the island....

By the way, tried to do a dummy booking on IC GS from 13-16Oct, totally fully booked....wonder why ???
