Thanks for the reply! What are the benefits ? I understand the STARS benefits are usually breakfast (included in this promotion anyway), a welcome by the manager, late checkout and a welcome amenity ? How about Virtuoso ?

Similar benefits to STARS (stars usually better), but depending on the agent you can usually swing a confirmed upgrade at time of booking. For example, all of my bookings at a certain property I frequent in the US are upgraded to Club Suites from standard club room at time of reservation.

Thanks for the reply. I've asked one of my TAs who's in STARS and Virtuoso. I'm looking to book Pay 4 Stay 7 and Pay 3 Stay 5 consecutively at the RC Osaka given HUGE AL's enthusiastic endorsement elsewhere on SQT (over the Westin where I've stayed before).

Yeah, that Westin needed WORK! RC Osaka ROCKS! If you like to drink (and I know jhm is in my faction) the bartenders there are some of the best I've seen in the world (myself being a former barman).

Until the SR opens up there next year, RC is the place to stay.

The other one to remember is the confirmed upgrades at time of booking for Centurion holders. For an upcoming reservation the hotel has confirmed, STARS benefits, Centurion, and they pay 4 stay 7 promotion...pretty sweet considering I didn't book through FHR.

The RC Osaka isn't in Virtuoso apparently but my TA has confirmed the STARS benefits (nothing in the circumstances), pay 7 stay 12 (what I can get myself if I booked direct) and an upgrade.
