Kings Park is a good place and the world famous Jacob's Ladder (Ask a local) is also in Kings Park if you are feeling fit or like bird watching.

What things are you into? As there are quite a lot of different thing to do. Is it just in the city or out and about. Trains will get you to places out side the city quite quickly and there are 1 day bus tours from the city.

Fremantle (known as Freo to the locals) is always fun, especially on a Sunday. If you're over 18, the legendary Little Creatures brewery/bar is quite a treat.

        There's the Swan Valley: http://www.swanvalley.com.au/en/default.htm
Wineries, breweries, paintball, minigolf...depends on your interests. As I'm sure you know, it will be summer here, and so there's always the beach!

Here are some links for you to get an idea of all there is to do here: http://www.whatson.com.au/

If you like wildlife, there's Perth Zoo, Caversham Wildlife Park, and there's even a camel farm where you can ride a camel.
        Hope this helps!

            Yes, absolutely.

If you are going down to Fremantle (locals call it Freo) I would recomend the WA Maritime Museum, Fremantle Prison, Fremantle Motor Museum and the historic Fremantle Markets. If you have enough time you can take a boat across to Rottnest Island. (locals call it Rats nest iland) Home of the Giant rats. (otherwise known as Quokka)http://www.rottnestisland.com/en/pages/Home.aspx

Definately do a boat crusie to a vineyard, we did a trip to just one vineyard and it was free wine on the way there and a nice buffet and tasting there, but there was a hen do on board and on the way back turned into a massive party which was very unextpected but a great laugh. The crew started singing and the whole boat stumbled off, baring in mind this was supposed to be a nice relaxing cruise it just took everyone by suprise so was very entertaining.
