  • Why Solitaire PPS abreviation is TPP?

    Peter11 just asked me this. We know QPP is qualified PPS. LPP is Life PPS. But why is Solitaire becoming TPP?

    I don't know for sure, but I would venture a guess: Top Priority Passenger?

      i agree with StarG. My thought was the same, before reading his.
      There's only One way to fly.... SINGAPORE AIRLINES!
      If SQ is too expensive, the other way to fly is Qatar Airways

        If:

        QPP = Qualified PPS
        LPP = Life PPS

        Surely TPP = T... PPS rather than Top Priority Passenger ?

          In case you didn't already know, PPS itself is Priority Passenger Service.

            * Note: The letters ‘PPS’ originally stood for ‘Priority Passenger Service’, but here's a little piece of advice: don’t use the full name, unless you want to lose your FF-cred
            Seriously, so is it ?

            Qualified Priority Passenger Service
            Top Priority Passenger Service
            Life Priority Passenger Service

            ... but "T" could mean so many other things!

              Of course!
              Any other possibilities you thought of?

                Thanks for the pic! I definitely prefer the current design with the SQ inspired semi-transparent kebaya stripe down one side (although I'm sure someone has posted on here or the old forum a pic of an older card which was also quite nice).

                T could stand for so many things - e.g. terrific, terrible, tedious, total PITA priority passenger (not all!) etc - but I think your "top" is much more likely.

                  I actually like this one best, followed by the one before the current one (with kebaya image across from left to right).

                    I learn something every day - I've always believed PPS was Priority Passenger Status!

                      Tipsy Priority Pax, they consistently make it into the SKL F to swill bubbly.

                        This is the one I was talking about:

                        Apologies for the ugly copyright wordings - some pictures from SQTalk was stolen and posted in www.myaviation.net as the thief's own.

                          You mean SQ should do another kind of checking into SKL? And one might be directed to the dry area only?

                          Anyway, I like the card blue with kebaya pattern. It's the first card I got.

                              I know. That is unfortunate.
