  • SIN-BKK Flights Renumbering

    Not sure, but SIN-BKK sectors looks like they are changing to 9XX instead of the tradition 6x numbers with 61X for the Japan add ons. I think this is to change the confusion?

    Anyone have more acurate information about this

    fumi... if i'm not wrong there should be a thread dedicated to this, here on SQT.
    There's only One way to fly.... SINGAPORE AIRLINES!
    If SQ is too expensive, the other way to fly is Qatar Airways

      Well, to be fair to fumi, the BKK news is kinda buried in the thread

        Looks like the numbering is:

        SQ0xx = North America
        SQ1xx = Malaysia
        SQ2xx = Australia, NZ
        SQ3xx = Europe
        SQ4xx = Middle East, South Africa, South Asia
        SQ5xx = MAA, BLR, CCU so far (maybe South Asia flights will move from 4xx to 5xx)
        SQ6xx = Japan, Korea
        SQ7xx = unused (perhaps to avoid confusion with cargo flights which are 7xxx)
        SQ8xx = Greater China
        SQ9xx = Southeast Asia

          There are that many flights to Malaysia that they deserve their own series? (No offense intended, SQfg and quik. )
