Check in more baggage during transit possible?

Qn: I'll be traveling HKG-SIN-LHR next month. This involves an overnight transit (approx 13 hrs) in SIN. During that period I need to collect some baggage from downtown Singapore. Will I be able to check in this bag? (In addition to through-checked bags from HKG to LHR.) If yes:- any additional charges?

There shouldn't be a problem/charge, if the total weight of your check-in luggage ex-LHR and ex-SIN is still within your luggage allowance. If you go over, they will charge you the excess.
