The first installment in my Spring Break lounge hopping experience.
After the 4 new alliance-affiliated lounges in TBIT opened, the temporary first class lounge has now been converted to the pay-to-use reLAX Lounge. Can't really say much about the lounge but if you have PP membership, don't mind shelling out $10, and/or would like some peace and quiet before heading up to the bustling *A Lounge , then this is a pretty decent place. It's a nice feature that I wish existed in my pre-FF/Priority Pass days.
Just a few notes of the place:
- Located pre-security in the upper mezzanine of TBIT, in between the Daily Grill and the Hamada Express.
- Accessible by Priority Pass cardholders
- Rates are at $10/hour, $25/3 hours, $35/5 hours, $50/All day
- They do offer complimentary snacks like Chex Mix and pretzels as well as some beverages (though this is a first for me to see an RC Cola fountain in a lounge!). Hot foods can be had for an extra cost.
- Lots of computer terminals
- Relatively quiet, for now at least. Only had 4 other passengers pop in during my duration.
