My favourite plane is the 747-400... not because I've ridden it the most of all, but because I've spent 3 hours in a full motion simulator flying that thing. Lots of fun...

That takes me back... I had a friend who worked at PanAm who invited me to actually "fly" and "land" (well, try to. I still remember the "Pull up!" warnings ) one of their 747 simulators. An unforgettable experience, but the fact that I was able to do that does give you an idea why the airline went under.

Depends really. If in Y I prefer the mid sized planes like A330-300 or 767-300 because they;'re not too crowded and kinda cosy. Otherwise the 744's upper deck rocks.
All opinions shared are my own, and are not necessarily those of my employer or any other organisation of which I'm affiliated to.

As of right now, in terms of comfort, I love the A345s. Nothing beats that feeling of climbing the stairs to the upper deck on the 744s though.

                          My favorites...

                          From the inside:
                          Seated in Y: 777 family
Seated in J: 744 upper deck
                          Seated in F: 744 nose
Seated in cockpit: 744 (jumpseated 3 times)

                          From the outside:
                          744. Like Lobster said, its just a beautiful airplane.

Talking about airplane itself and not interior seating, my preference is definetely for 346... also 747 is special but of course a little bit outdated.
There's only One way to fly.... SINGAPORE AIRLINES!
If SQ is too expensive, the other way to fly is Qatar Airways
