    Would someone explain to me if this Vietnam A333 is leased from another airline or Vietnam bought it:

    The N-designation means that the original owner is based in the U.S. The plane belonged to ILFC at the time the picture was taken. Looks like VN was operating it under a lease then, but it was delisted from the FAA on 5 October.

    To sum it up: yes it belongs to VN now, although they haven't updated its registration number yet.

      I flew VN-A368 (Airbus A333) HANSGN. They replaced it as I was supposed to be flying a B772ER.

      It seemed to have remnants of past owners. The lifejacket used in thes safety demonstration was from LTU International (Germany) and the AirShow on the token IFE screens had the Air Luxor logo on the bottom.
