  • [LAS] Welcome to SkyLofts!

    I'm sitting here in my "office area."

    "Whachu sippin' on, HUGE AL?" I be sippin' on some Pinot Grigio!

    At 3,800 square feet (that'd be 353 square meters) this two story "house" is massive!

    Driven to and from LAS was via Maybach and the service has been outstanding!

    I know there's quite a bit written on TOF, but this place deserves the HUGE AL recommendation.

    Pics and more to follow...but I've got a date...

    Here we go...let's take a walk, shall we?

    Upon Entry:

    Stand There and Look Left:

    Look Right:
    (note the stand to the right of the TV [of which I counted 10 of...taipeiflyer counted 12] -- it integrates your iPod with the Crestron System so you can pipe your music throughout the Loft)

    Let's Take A Walk Left To The Dining Room:
    (fresh berries are refreshed in the room three times a day)

    From Living Room #1 Looking at the Coffee Bar:
    (where taipeiflyer told me sits a US$2500 coffee machine and every bean you can imagine...Jamaican Blue Mountain anyone?)

    A Look Up The Stairs:

    A Look Down The Hallway to Living Room #2:

    Looking Back, There's the Wet Bar:

    Living Room #2:

    Media Room:

    Billiard Room:

    Let's head upstairs...

      rolled out to vegas to join up with HugeAL... once again, was treated to the VVIP treatment. Boy's got major juice!! had a great time getting lost in the room... they sent out a search and rescue team to comb through the west wing. we played pool, had drinks at an ice bar, with a huge block of ice for the bar, and maybe 200 vodkas on menu. we then had a great dinner of foie gras, lamb and halibut, and 5 insane desserts that we couldn't finish. a drunk guy came over to our table, told me i had the nicest suit he'd ever seen and said my rack of lamb looked delicious, proceeding to take it off my plate, to which security came over and escorted the guy out... and i went ahead and finished my rack of lamb, despite the fact it had been handled by some drunk guy. we polished the meal down with a bottle of 96 salon, some muscat, and fonseca port. then, HugeAL taught me the intricacies of craps... our night ended around 5am. today, we had lunch at wolfgang puck... which was not very good actually... then we took the maybach back to the airport and are chilling in the lounge right now... it was a great 24 hours!

              taipeiflyer was so wiped out he had to recline the seat to fully 180 degrees flat and show off...

              Hope you kids enjoyed the pictorial...after numerous hours (which included learning all about iPhoto) I'm going to bed...

                Actually 3800 sq ft is 353 sqm
                1m = 3.28ft
                1sqm = 10.76sqft

                But I am still very impressed.
                IF I am anywhere near LAS, I know who I am going to call.
