Munich Sat 7 June & Sun 8 June

I expect to be in Munich for the weeknd 7-8 June. Though I will be tied up for dinner time 7 June, I was wondering if anyone else want to make this into an informal Do?

Let's say a Sunday day out? Possible Sat Morning and afternoon as well? Possible activities with more descriptions using the weblink below.

if you have never been to castles i strongly recommend you to visit them. they really worth.
I don't know my plan, since i've my most important meeting on Jun 6th (i'm on my way to get promoted ), but maybe i could decide to make short hop to MUC (btw, don't count on it)

if I knew about a muc dinner on June 7, I wouldnt have set for my monthly fra-lunchies
so unfortunately I'm a few miles north...

Anyway, have a great time in Munich!

I visited Neuschwanstein last year. There's no need to join a tour if you don't mind the (small) amount of hassle, i.e.

* buy the castle entrance in advance (the website is online) - you join a quick tour around the castle by an official guide - some of the daily tours are in English

* buy the train tix on arrival at MUC

* a short taxi ride from the train station to the town near Neuschwanstein

* walk up to the castle or take one of the pony drawn carriages

and that's pretty much it.
